We're a female-led practice who are driven by a passion for comprehensive and compassionate care. We pride ourselves on being a locally-owned practice that's neither corporate nor franchised, focusing instead on easy communication, a high level of service, and treating your pets as if they were our own.

Sammy is a veterinarian passionate about working together with you to get the best outcome for your pet. She is a Port local, having grown up in the area, but graduated in 2016 from The University of Queensland before returning home.
Sammy likes the balance of working part time so she can be an active mum to her two young girls. In her spare time, Sammy loves nothing more than going for a quiet horse ride along the beach on her thoroughbred Rollo with her dog Rufus.

VET NURSE

View Profile

Jess started her career in veterinary nursing in a rural clinic in far western NSW in 2006, since then she has worked in both small and large animal practices in multiple clinics across NSW, predominantly in a large GP clinic in Sydney and dabbled in emergency and ICU. She has a special interest in canine behaviour and training. Outside of work she has been involved in breeding and training detection dogs for a range of different roles.

Her Springer Spaniels Tully & Bourke are always keeping their detection skills up to scratch finding truffles, koala scatt among other things. Her old Border Collie Sky has retired now but in her day she was an efficient assistance dog with her most useful skill being collecting drinks from the fridge for her mum when she's had a big day.

THE BOSS

View Profile

After arriving as a trainee and quickly progressing through the ranks, our much loved Ian has asserted his dominance within the clinic in record time.

Not much happens without his approval and we would be lost without his support, love and guidance.

Special interests include annoying friends for treats, meowing for attention and napping in comfy places.
